Welcome to Gravity Social!

Gravity Social is more than just a new name—it’s a concept we have been developing for years. While Gravity Soul started as a race series in the mid-Atlantic region, it has grown to become a more social community centered around one location. With origins in grassroots dual slalom racing through Gravity Soul, a close partnership with Old Harmony Farm, and a group of dedicated volunteers, we have evolved into what is now Gravity Social. Our next chapter takes the form of a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating competitive racing and progressive gravity-oriented riding for all ages and experience levels.

For us, riding and racing is just as much a social event as it is an opportunity to get out in nature and grow as riders. We aim to grow the biking community within the mid-Atlantic, no matter who is riding: you, your friends, or your kids. Maybe you just want to hang out with bike enthusiasts who work hard and play hard. We are confident that one trip to the farm won’t be enough!

The Dual Slalom Track

Our home base is Old Harmony Farm, a privately owned 14 acre farm at the base of the Frederick watershed. Through our partnership with them, we have the creative freedom to design trails and features that range from beginner to advanced. Our main attraction is a hand-built, carefully maintained dual slalom track. It’s arguably the best DS track on the East Coast! All features on the track are rollable—no jumping skills required. Great for all skill levels.

Specialized Trails

Our advanced pro line is a slope-style trail called Night Train. With drops, jumps and gaps, the seasoned rider will definitely find their adrenaline fix on this trail! Coming soon: an intermediate jump line which will make for a good progression into Night Train.

Progression Zone and Air Bag Lander

This zone has practice drops that are progressive in size (from 1 foot up to 3 feet)—great for learning and practicing drops. We also have an inflatable airbag for honing those jumping skills or practicing tricks with a soft landing.
